Glad to have two great railway workers

Las t saturday was one of my regular railway days. Peter wasn’t availebl, but Tom and Arek came down and spent the day, labouring on various tasks.

Tom started by offering up the cardboard templates he had made, before beginning to cast the viaduct elements out of concrete.

Actually that is really a photo of Arek ballasting the track with chicken grit.

I think you will agree that the templates show that that the viaduct will eventually look very impressive.

We also finsihed constructing and offered up the main baseboard for the forthcoming Apple Tree Junction:

/The loop will be moved further down the garden, beyond the station, once it has been installed.

Arel also did stirling service erecting narrow shelves in the sauna-like undergarage.
