Packing

After months of applications, interviews, training and preparation, booking flights, applying for visas and getting vaccinated, we are almost ready to go to Kenya.

Essentially one thing remains to be done : PACKING!

Actually, Lesley was already packed a few weeks ago:

I still have to get all this :

into these:

I have a strong belief that ‘where there’s a will, there’s a way’. I also have some good packing tips (starting with ‘roll everything up’) and a misplaced faith that the laws of mass, volume and density can be temporarily suspended when necessary.

My advice Adam is to ask Lesley to help you pack – she clearly is the expert! I wish you good luck and Bon Voyage! Good things are going to happen this year – I mean look, Johnson has been made to resign – things can only get better! Love Ruth XXX

  4. Dear Adam. I vote against rolling unless you have to fill a tube. I can recommend airtight plastic bags where you can suck the air out of. Also you don’t want to present yourself to your new comrades with wrinkled shirts, do you?
