Peter came down again, and we managed (after 3 hours working) to get one set of storage shelves up. Here you can see the shelf supports (as is the trend with this project, substantial and not going anywhere).

Here is the lower shelf in place:

And hey presto, here’s the finished thing, with the baseboard (resting) on top.

I also purchased the final panels necessary to complete the rest of the baseboard. You can see the hatch in action, giving a clear route out to the garden.

So the baseboards are all in place (apart from the bridge – more of that in a later post). A panoramic view of the undergarage shows a full (if rather distorted) view.

I was also able to insulate the hatch in the roof that leads to the garage:

Once Peter and I can get together to complete the remaining shelves, I can screw down the baseboards and will be ready to start track laying. Exciting!
